We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Controller with extensive full-cycle accounting experience to join our dynamic and reputable client. This contract opportunity offers a hands-on role within a supportive and thriving team and is based in Kentville, Nova Scotia.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Manage and oversee full cycle accounting processes
• Financial statements, ledgers, schedules, reporting
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Account reconciliations and analysis
• Inventory management and control
• Costing and inventory related projects
• Enhance internal controls and develop new policies and procedures
• Assist with audit preparation

Skills & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college or university level
• CPA designation is a definite asset, but not required
• 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar full cycle role
• Professional, concise, and adaptable communication skills
• Open minded and flexible approach with a hands-on approach
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
