is a distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in Oil & Gas, mining, petrochemical, mechanical sector, servicing Western Canada for more than 40 years. Amity Industrial provides a high level of service and quality products to its vast customers. Our Amity team is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Controller

to join our team.

Accounting Manager

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare month end/ year end financial statements

Prepare budgets and forecasts

Bank reporting

Balance GL accounts

Develop and manage financial controls

Provide cash flow analysis

Participate in development of and support the company's strategic plans

Financial planning, budgeting and expense control

Bank reconciliation

Effectively process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable

Power user of accounting system

Employee onboarding company package

Manage and prepare payroll

Manage benefits enrollment and changes

Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as required

Required Skills and Abilities:

Self motivated and self directing

Ability to work closely with senior management

Excellent decision-making abilities

Results orientated

Strong communication skills

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance

5+ years of experience with progressive accounting responsibilities.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
