Black Fox Farm & Distillery is a globally recognised craft distillery producing exceptional whisky and gin for the global luxury market. Our farm-based operation, located just minutes outside Saskatoon, grows the grains and botanicals that go into every bottle--an approach that ensures authenticity, sustainability, and award-winning flavour.

As we continue to expand our international reach, we're seeking a

full-time Controller / Bookkeeper who will also provide Administrative assistance

to help strengthen the daily operations of our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong financial background and a desire to contribute to a world-class brand from the inside out.

Schedule

: Tuesday to Friday 8:00 am-6:00 pm

What You'll Do:



Financial Management & Accounting



Maintain accurate records across Sales, Accounts Receivable/Payable, General Ledger, payroll, and taxes. Prepare and manage cash flow statements, monthly/weekly sales and financial reports, and budgets. File tax remittances and coordinate the annual year-end process with external accountants. Recommend and implement financial controls and operational benchmarks to support sustainable growth. Develop new systems to streamline accounting, data entry, and reporting as Black Fox continues to scale.

Human Resources Support



Coordinate payroll and administer benefits, including the company's group insurance plan. Support onboarding and HR documentation, including basic policy and file management.

Office & Administrative Support



Provide general office support, including scheduling, record keeping, and filing. Assist with coordination of meetings, travel, and logistics as required. Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications where needed. Support day-to-day business operations to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Who You Are



CPA designation

or equivalent professional experience (minimum 3-5 years). Skilled in

QuickBooks Desktop

,

Excel

, and ideally POS systems (e.g., Clover). Experience in the

hospitality, retail, agriculture, or beverage alcohol industry

is an asset. Naturally organised and systems-oriented--someone who enjoys improving processes. Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a

small, fast-moving team environment

. Excellent communicator and collaborator with strong interpersonal skills. Proactive, trustworthy, and able to manage both strategic and hands-on tasks.
