About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on

Controller

to manage and lead the financial operations across our hotel properties. This position requires

deep knowledge of the hospitality industry

, and the ideal candidate will bring

at least 5 years of hotel-specific experience

to the table. As the Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring financial compliance across multiple locations. You will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and helping drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and analysis across all hotel properties Monitor and control budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management Lead audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain internal controls Work closely with ownership and hotel management to support strategic planning Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Travel to hotel properties across provinces as required (company-paid travel)

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel/hospitality accounting

or financial management (mandatory) CPA designation is an asset but not required Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations Strong communication and leadership abilities Proficient in accounting software and Excel

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
