About the Role

Canada Fluorspar (NL) Inc. is looking for experienced and motivated

Control Room Operators

to join the Mill Operations team. This full-time position is an integral part of the operations, monitoring all plant systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. The Control Room Operator ensures all systems work to maximum capacity while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operations. Assist maintenance personnel in starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment. Operate process plant equipment, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Report deviations in plant conditions or parameters to minimize downtime and breakdowns. Complete and maintain logs and reports, ensuring accuracy in data recording. Maintain assigned areas according to standard operating procedures. Perform miscellaneous labor activities, ensuring housekeeping standards meet company requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma. Minimum of five (5) years of mineral processing production plant experience. Minimum of two (2) years of control room operating experience. Ability to lift 10 lbs with each hand and up to 50 lbs with both hands. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license required.
