The Opportunity



Wolf Midstream is seeking a Control Centre Operator (CCO) to join our team. Reporting to the Control Centre Lead, the CCO is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Wolf's pipeline systems and associated facilities. This role operates in a 24/7 control room environment, following a rotating schedule of 12-hour day and night shifts.



This is a full-time, permanent position based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.



Key Responsibilities



Follow procedures for safe operation of pipeline systems Manage Terminal Tank inventories Work with Shipper Services daily to meet nominations Monitor and control the pipeline receipts and deliveries Initiate responses when over/short pipeline balances exceed expectations Liaise with Producers and connected pipelines Strive for efficient operation of the pipeline to minimize diluent usage and reduce power costs Monitor system balances using the Leak Detection System and daily reports from the Product Accounting Liquid Management System Monitor all operation and maintenance activities on the pipeline Provide direction to field operations staff related to operations and maintenance activities Provide assistance to other disciplines Provide start-up and commissioning assistance when required Participate in active ER scenario training and exercises Provide gateway to initial emergency response activities Play a role when the Access ERP is initiated Train and mentor new hires

Qualifications and Experience



Education:



Trade or technical certification, diploma, or a degree in a related discipline would be an asset Power, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering would be preferred

Experience:



A minimum of 5 years control room experience in liquid pipelines or oil and gas operations preferred Health, Safety and Environmental safety training and experience, including H2S, First Aid Valid Class 5 Driver's License This is a Safety Sensitive position and requires pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Skills:



Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders Demonstrates leadership and troubleshooting skills Strong computer skills
