StandardAero is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contracts Specialist to support the full contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, and management of a broad range of commercial contracts.


Essential Job Functions

:


Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Creating, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and contract templates, including NDAs, service agreements, and other customer agreements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and mitigating potential risks. Contract Lifecycle Management: Managing contracts from initiation to completion, including intake, approval workflows, execution, renewals, amendments, and terminations. Stakeholder Communication: Interacting with internal teams and customers to align contract terms with business objectives and facilitate contract execution. Contract Documentation: Maintaining organized and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documentation within the contract management system. Contract Renewal and Termination: Monitoring contract deadlines and key milestones to support proactive renewal or renegotiation decisions. Contract Optimization: Identifying opportunities to improve the contract processes, improve efficiency, and support scalable contract practices.

Basic Requirements:



A Bachelor's degree Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.

Preferred Requirements:



Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems JD (Juris Doctor) or paralegal certificate Aerospace industry experience a plus
