As a member of the TELUS Partner Solutions (TPS) Roaming Team, the Contracts Manager will be responsible for ensuring that roaming partners adhere to terms of the agreements along with handling all aspects of the financial settlement with our partners.

  • Manage the monthly financial settlement process
  • Work with our data & financial clearing house vendor
  • Ensure accurate billing along with addressing issues with partners
  • Reconcile end of period invoices & coordinate with partners to have adjustments made
  • Accrual recommendations to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support SOX audits on the financial settlement processes
  • Produce monthly reporting to show current positions & problematic accounts
  • Make sure that TELUS & partners adhere to terms of our roaming agreements (including tracking special allowances)
  • Monitor roaming traffic to identify issues with permanent roaming &/or other behavior
  • Identify changes in traffic patterns &/or volumes from partners
  • Support commercial negotiations through forecasting and traffic insights
  • Recognize, recommend, & execute process improvement opportunities


Qualifications


You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle:
  • Established understanding of wireless networks & roaming principals
  • Knowledge of the wireless industry, service provider, technology and industry structure/practices
  • Strong financial acumen & knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience with wireless GSM roaming agreements
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organization abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, investigate, evaluate and clear issues
  • Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google Suite
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, projects, and activities

Required Professional Designation/Certification
  • Bachelor / University degree and or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in a telecommunications environment
  • Experience working for wireless carriers or vendors is an asset
