We design, manufacture, and support advanced equipment sensing and analysis products, including online oil debris sensors, turbine blade health sensors, and portable oil debris analysis systems.
Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the Contract Administrator, Commercial Services will report to the Director, Commercial Services and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on facilitating the daily operations of the Commercial Services department.
What You'll Do:
The individual will be part of our Commercial Services team with the primary focus on the daily operations of the Commercial Services department:
Guidance for the Contract Management and Order Administration functional team which includes:
+ Contracts Management
+ Subcontracting
+ Order Management
+ Intellectual Property Governance
+ Legal and regulatory compliance
+ Corporate contracting/Commercial Insurance
+ ITAR and Cybersecurity compliance
+ Commercial and Corporate Agreements Licensing, Research/Collaboration, Confidentiality, Representation, Consulting/Contracting
Lead negotiations in strategic commercial engagements such as Contract management and Bidding process
Resolve complex regulatory and jurisdictional compliance issues
Conception and implementation of on-going improvements and innovations for Commercial Services function
Implement best practices for contracting strategies to support the Sales Channel and Program Management process
Author and manage corporate template agreements, terms and conditions, and supporting procedural documentation
Identify and report on KPI for Commercial Services operations
Achieve corporate goals and targets as assigned by the Director of Commercial Services as they apply to the Commercial Services function

Who You Are:
Have advance skills in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating all forms of Procurement and Sales Contracts and supporting Agreements
Strong business acumen and sound judgment that ensures the deployment of a robust, scalable, and agile Contract and Order Management process
Experience supporting Executive and Senior Management teams as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Commercial/Contracting issues
Have supported a business model that facilitates a dynamic sales process, while sufficiently and appropriately mitigating commercial risks
Someone who enjoys mentoring and developing staff to reach their fullest potential
What You Should Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in the business field or at least 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in a related role. Additionally, you should have:
High motivation with results-oriented focus
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Experience with Canadian Controlled Goods/ITAR Program (CCG)
Working knowledge of International Contracting
Experience with US Governance Defence Contracting/FAR and DFARS
Worked with Canadian Government Contracting/SACC/Canadian Commercial Corp. (CCC)
Strong experience with Intellectual Property Management
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Must Have:
Eligible to obtain a Canadian Government Security Clearance
