Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Utilize quantity take-off procedures Monitor and adjust contract expenditures Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Sell merchandise Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Order merchandise Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Organize and maintain inventory
