Outside Sales Representative -- Building Supply / Construction



This role is designed for a motivated sales professional in their career who's ready to learn from some of the best in the business. You'll work directly with senior leaders and established sales team, gaining the training, tools, and mentorship you need to grow into a top performer.

We are looking for candidates form two streams:

Sales Stream

- you understand that sales is a contact sport and have demonstrated a history of success in the roles you have so far in your career. You recognize the opportunity of the building materials business and have a desire to be part of a business based on execution and building long term meaningful relationships.

Construction Stream

- you have a history in the building materials world, and you understand the flow of materials, construction on residential and/or commercial projects and how to add value to a project. You look at things from a partnership mentality and understand the significance of sales has in growing your career.

What You'll Do



Build relationships with local contractors, builders, and homeowners to understand their project needs. Support senior outside sales executives on large accounts while developing your own book of business. Learn to prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and material take-offs for residential and light commercial projects. Partner with store and yard teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. Represent RONA Atlantic at industry events and community initiatives. Drive new business development and contribute to the growth of your customer targets Champion safety, accuracy, and professionalism in all customer and team interactions.

Who You Are



Ambitious and hungry to grow in construction and building-supply sales. Skilled communicator who thrives on building relationships and trust. Comfortable learning the technical side of building materials (training provided but learning is continual). Competitive, self-driven, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets. What We're Looking For



2+ years' experience in building supplies sales or construction-related customer service (contractor desk, inside sales, etc.). Strong understanding of building materials (lumber, drywall, insulation, hardware, paint, finishes). Ability to read/interpret basic building plans or specifications is an asset. Skilled communicator--confident in handling professional clients with urgency and respect. Organized and dependable; able to manage multiple quotes, orders, and accounts simultaneously. Team-oriented mindset, with a drive to deliver results.

Salary Range

: $60,000+ /year base
