Job Summary



The Contract Specialist is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role supports cross-functional departments by providing guidance on contractual terms, mitigating risk, and ensuring timely execution of agreements.

We are looking for a candidate with deep industry knowledge, a solid grasp of relevant laws and best practices, and strong leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring sharp analytical thinking, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to contract risk management. This role is essential in safeguarding the organization's interests by structuring contracts that support strategic objectives while maintaining full compliance with legal standards and internal policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company standards and legal requirements. Draft, revise, and negotiate contracts including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and customer agreements. Maintain and manage a centralized contract repository and tracking system. Collaborate with legal, sales, finance, and business units to facilitate contract execution and compliance. Monitor contract performance and obligations, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and terminations. Identify and mitigate contractual risks and escalate issues as needed. Support audits and reporting requirements related to contracts. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract policies and procedures. Enhance contract policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications/Skills



Understanding of contract law and commercial terms. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Legal and ethical integrity. Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.

Education and Experience



Bachelor's degree required 3+ years of experience in contract analysis or legal support. Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Suite preferred. Paralegal certification or legal background is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
