This is reading a contract opportunity for Data Engineer with Salesforce in GTA. Candidate needs to travel to the office 2 days a week. To apply, share resume at bijaya.padhi@firstvibe.caResponsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, custom triggers, and connectors for our client's Salesforce platform. You will play a pivotal role in integrating Salesforce with various internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and high data quality. Strong ETL experience and a deep understanding of the Salesforce data architecture.Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimize scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to move data into and out of the Salesforce ecosystem.Salesforce Integration: Develop, test, and deploy robust connectors and APIs to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems and third-party services.Custom Development: Create and maintain custom Salesforce triggers using Apex to automate processes and ensure data integrity.Data Modeling & Warehousing: Collaborate with data architects to define data models, and contribute to the overall data warehousing strategy.Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks, testing protocols, and monitoring solutions to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all data processes.Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data-related issues, providing timely support and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Required:A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering role. Proven hands-on experience with building and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.Demonstrated experience working with the Salesforce platform, including developing custom triggers and connectors.Preferred:Experience working within the banking, finance, or a similar highly regulated industry.In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data architecture and best practices.Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I, Data Architecture and Management Designer) Familiarity with data governance and security standards.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to $80.00 per hour
