Husky Midstream is currently looking for a Contract Operator, who will work on a rotating schedule (likely 5 days on 2 days off) supporting all Husky Midstream locations depending on business need.


This could include supporting locations around Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Vermillion, Lloydminster, Wainwright, Hardisty and various Saskatchewan locations.




Schedule and locations would be discussed and pre-approved by contractor and leader in advance.




Key Responsibilities:


Operate and Monitor Equipment: Oversee the operation of pumps, compressors, and other production equipment. Ensure all machinery is functioning correctly and efficiently. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment. Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team. Data Collection: Record and analyze production data. Use this information to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Environmental Stewardship: Ensure all operations comply with environmental regulations. Participate in initiatives to reduce environmental impact. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including equipment failures and environmental incidents. Participate in emergency response drills. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other field operators, engineers, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed.


Skills:


Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements:


* Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment. Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule.
