Position Overview:
We are seeking a
Heavy Oil Contract Operator
to manage and operate sweet cold flow heavy oil single well batteries and water disposal sites. This is a hands-on role for someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and eager to work in the heavy oil sector.Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor single well heavy oil batteries and water disposal sites. Perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational regulations. Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary. Maintain accurate records of production and operational activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience working with heavy oil is an asset. Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong attention to safety and operational procedures.
Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off rotation.
