The challenges that await you
Reporting to the coordinator of financial, material, and revenue resources, you are responsible for preparing and coordinating calls for tenders for various needs, products, and services. You validate the compliance of the development plans and ensure their integration into the specifications. You write the technical specifications and prepare cost estimates for contracts related to the calls for tenders in partnership with the Procurement Department. You conduct research on products and services to meet the various needs of applicants and obtain the best purchasing conditions. You negotiate and proceed with the purchase of products and services while considering the purchasing levels authorized by the City. You check suppliers' proposals to validate their compliance with needs and regulatory requirements. You establish and recommend action plans and operational structures while respecting the established budgets.
You ensure compliance with standards and define interventions and penalties that may be applied in case of non-compliance with these standards. You communicate information to various internal and external stakeholders and provide technical assistance to operations. You may undertake communications through media and other platforms.
The ideal profile for us
Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other relevant bachelor's degree for the position;
Have eight (8) years of relevant experience in contract management;
Knowledge of the public sector, an asset;
Mastery of Power BI software, an asset;
Possess a valid driver's license.
