As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.

Responsibilities may include:

Participates in reviews and approvals of draft contracts during the bid phase. Performs contract/subcontract and scope of work document reviews, negotiates and drafts contracts/subcontracts and scope of work documents and interfaces with customer/vendor contracting personnel. Works with project management, sales, finance, and procurement teams as well as the legal department to manage and structure contracts and scope of work documents. Ensures contract scope is clearly defined and matches the scope that was bid and priced. Analyzes contracts and scope of work documents to ensure compliance with company policy, government specifications and other requirements. Takes proper action to administer and close out the contract in accordance with applicable procedures at the conclusion of all contracting activity. Ensures the timely communication of contract information with management and other stakeholders and maintains complete and accurate contract files.
Qualifications Required:
A background in engineering, software, or construction projects. Experience drafting and reviewing technical scopes of work. A quick and efficient learner with strong forensic attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) Demonstrate the ability to work with deadlines and under pressure An ability to think innovatively and creatively Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Strong sense of character, honesty, and teamwork. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field. Law degree not required.

Nice to Haves:

Experience with construction or public sector contracts Experience in addressing contractual issues in SaaS, cloud, data security, privacy, and intellectual property matters
