Reporting to the Procurement Portfolio Manager, you will support the Procurement Services department by managing contracts and analyzing spend and/or category data to assist Procurement Services in providing strategic, agile procurement advice to clients. You will also ensure financial controls and compliance to contract terms and conditions and LCBO procurement policy and procedures.If you are passionate about procurement, contract management and technology, and have a reputation for being collaborative, analytical, and client-focused, then this is the role for you!About the RoleProcurement and Contract Management

  • Create and manage various Oracle purchase agreements and the related contracts; and create PO\xe2\x80\x99s that reference agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions; procurement policies and procedures and ensure spend does not exceed contract approved amount.
  • Review contracts and other procurement documents as applicable to gain an understanding of goods/services under contract and create contract summaries.
  • Generate and analyze spend reports as well as other contract related reports as required by internal clients, P2P team and other procurement services staff to better understand, manage, influence, and optimize buying behaviour and assist in procurement planning.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service while providing advice to clients at varying seniority levels on a variety of matters including, but not limited to, contract compliance, procurement compliance; proper supporting documentation; contract renewals and spend and P2P process.
Procure to Pay (P2P) Process and Oracle System Support
  • Support internal clients and Procurement Services team in the use of Oracle procurement modules.
  • Provide P2P advice and guidance to internal clients and all members of Procurement Services team and continually assess the process to assist in development and implementation of problem resolution and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Troubleshoot system issues reported by internal clients relating to Oracle procurement modules as well as other procurement systems and participate in system testing/maintenance/upgrades/enhancements as needed.
About You
  • Post-secondary education in a related field and/or equivalent job-related experience.
  • 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the procurement of goods, services, and contract management.
  • Previous procurement experience in a public sector environment is considered an asset.
  • In-depth understanding and experience with Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Experience with personal computers using MS applications.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Advanced Procurement modules or other procurement software
  • Strong analytical, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams.
