The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba seeks a dynamic individual to work with the Complaints and Discipline team as a Contract Complaints Investigator.
The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba (the College) was established in 1878 and is the pharmacy regulatory and licensing authority in Manitoba. The legislated mandate of the College is to serve and protect the public interest. The College protects the health and well-being of the public by ensuring and promoting safe, patient-centred, and progressive pharmacy practice in collaboration with other health care professionals.
About the Position
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and progressive with excellent communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills. The consultant will be able to work independently in a self-directed environment and also have the ability to collaborate effectively with College staff.
Assets include a working knowledge of health-professions legislation, including the Pharmaceutical Act of Manitoba and supporting Pharmaceutical regulations, administrative, organizational and time management skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
This position is offered as an independent contractor, not an employee. Workload will vary according to the demands of cases received. Flexible work schedule with the opportunity to work outside regular business hours, as appropriate. The work model includes a mix of remote and onsite work, with some onsite required initially to effectively accomplish training and collaboration. Travel within Manitoba may be required.
