Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of IT, the Contract Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be a crucial player on a significant business systems transformation project. This hands-on role focuses on bridging the gap between manufacturing operations and corporate functions by eliciting requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting the integration of ERP and business intelligence systems. The ideal candidate is a techno-functional analyst with a strong background in manufacturing environments and a proven track record in ERP projects.

What you'll do
Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance.
Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams (developers, data engineers), translating business needs into clear functional specifications.
Analyze and map complex business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities within the current and future system landscape.
Develop detailed user stories, process flows, and documentation to support system design, development, and testing.
Conduct data analysis using SQL to support requirements definition, validate solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with BI developers to define business logic and requirements for reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense).
Support testing activities, including test case development and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus, resolve conflicts, and ensure project alignment.
What we're looking for
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Systems Analyst, specifically within manufacturing, process industry, or industrial sectors. Candidates from banking, insurance, or unrelated service sectors will not be considered.
Demonstrated experience participating in major ERP implementation, migration, or transformation projects is essential.
Strong technical proficiency in SQL for data querying, analysis, and validation.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, SSRS, or similar.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
A self-motivated, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
Highly Desirable Assets
Direct experience with
IFS ERP applications
(not required, but a strong asset).
Experience with other manufacturing ERPs such as Infor M3, SYSPRO, or SAP.
Understanding of data governance, data warehousing concepts (e.g., MS Fabric, SSAS), and ETL processes.
Experience in legacy system migration or "greenfield" implementation projects.

Pay: $85.00-$100.00 per hour
