We are looking for a Contract & Procurement Professional to lead low to high complexity procurement processes in either a lead or support role to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. This work includes executing project supply chain strategies, contracting plans and sourcing activities following established processes and quality requirements. Our Offering:

Responsibilities:

• Implement project supply chain strategies using the project management processes, knowledge of public sector procurement law, and the appropriate application of relevant supply chain concepts
• Lead and/or support projects by developing project contracting plans and market sounding documentations
• Lead and/or support projects by facilitating bidding, evaluation and negotiations
• Lead and/or support projects by performing contact management activities to ensure the client and suppliers fulfill their contractual obligations
• Forecast, monitor, and report on contact usage and performance; identifying issues, taking timely action to resolve issues and communicating the same with stakeholders/project teams
• Draft and manage communication with suppliers on required contractual documentations, and file all correspondence as required
• Act as subject matter expert to provide guidance and advice to project teams in the sourcing, procurement, and management of goods and services contracts

Requirements:

• A minimum 5 years as a sourcing or contract management or equivalent, preferably in the public sector or a complex environment working
• Experience in categories or infrastructure capital project, preference for experience in the power industry
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a business-related or technical field such as Supply Chain, Law, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent
• Certificate or additional education in Supply Chain Management or Project Management, is an asset
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
