The Contract Analyst is a key member of the Enterprise Procurement team that provides contract review and support to the Procurement Services team to support day-to-day procurement activities.The University offers flexible work arrangements; access to the university\'s recreation services; ongoing professional development and mentorship and a comprehensive benefits and pension program.Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to support USask Procurement team members in meeting their procurement and contracting services needs through the provision of advice, guidance, execution, and exceptional service.Nature of Work: Working in a cross-functional team environment, the Contract Analyst is accountable for collaborating with procurement staff, departments, and units to facilitate USask procurement contracting services by assessing needs, gathering requirements, providing guidance, and supporting the effective execution of the contracting processes within established thresholds in accordance with university policy and guidelines and relevant legislation. This position will also offer feedback and potential solutions for process improvements that support continuous enhancements to the service performance of Enterprise Procurement. The role will have a heavy focus on procurement contracting services associated with construction, professional services, and general goods and services, therefore specialized knowledge of contracting practices associated with these areas is considered an asset to guide team members and clients appropriately.Accountabilities:
