OUR CLIENT
This is a well established Architecture firm with multiple offices, that are expanding nationally and growing their Halifax location. They are seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist/CA to work on their commercial portfolio of retail, grocery store and franchise projects. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for flexibility to join a growing firm with a lot of potential.

THE JOB
As a senior technologist/CA, you will work collaboratively to produce full sets of details, drawings and construction documents. Site visits, CA and project coordination will be a big part of the role, as well as working with clients and project teams to deliver work in a timely manner.

WHAT\'S REQUIRED

• A Senior Architectural Technologist that can prepare a full set drawings, ideally in both AutoCAD and Revit for the retail environment, with minimal supervision
• 8+ years of experience, with knowledge of relevant building code and experience with researching applicable zoning by-laws
• A portfolio (elevation, floor plans & section details) that demonstrates relevant experience either commercial, retail, public, community or similar work
• Ability to step into a fast-paced environment; deal with internal and external stakeholders to move projects forward
• Good written and verbal communication skills - ability to do site visits to collect vital information
• Contract administration skills are an asset
• Ability to provide mentorship to other staff
