Position Summary:





We're looking to hire a Contract Administrator. While our head office is located at the YMX Innovation Center, Volatus operates in a hybrid environment and this position will be office and home-based. The successful candidate will provide support on a wide range of commercial issues and applications and assist senior management in their various tasks, primarily in the area of contractual documents and corporate compliance. This is a new position in a new, fast-paced company. The successful candidate shall have the opportunity to help develop the role and responsibilities that best meets the company's objectives.




Main duties and responsibilities:






Under the supervision of the Executive Vice-President and Corporate Secretary, you will be called upon to perform the following tasks, among others:



Provide support to the management team by drafting, reviewing, and/or editing a variety of documents against the company's standard templates, including drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements, renewing or amending service contracts, preparing schedules and work statements. Support the team on all kinds of contractual issues and requests. Performs due diligence on information and feedback obtained in relation to the execution of various agreements and potential acquisitions. Participate in the development, implementation and updating of various contract templates, reference documents, and databases, and contribute to the improvement of internal processes. Support senior management in transactions (including due diligence) and continuous disclosure obligations and coordinate and liaise with internal and external parties. Support public company reporting requirements.



Requirements:





To be successful in the position, the candidate must have a history of demonstrating the following qualities or skills:


Fully bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing. Law degree or university or college diploma in paralegal studies or a business degree with contractual experience. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate environment or a law firm. Has good organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop strong cooperative and supportive relationships. High level of attention to detail; Solution-oriented and customer service mindset. Effective priority management skills. Ability to work with a diverse clientele and adapt to a variety of situations and individuals. Tendency to take initiative and have a proactive attitude. Ability to work under pressure, often under tight deadlines, and to demonstrate composure in sensitive situations. Has a good work ethic, good judgment, and good communication skills. Autonomous and diplomatic. Agile in the use of MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook) and can work with PDF documents.

Nous cherchons a embaucher un administrateur de contrats. Bien que notre siege social soit situe au Centre d'innovation YMX, Volatus evolue dans un environnement hybride ; ce poste sera hybride. Le candidat retenu apportera son soutien sur un large eventail de questions et d'applications commerciales et assistera la haute direction dans ses diverses taches, principalement en matiere de documents contractuels et de conformite d'entreprise. Il s'agit d'un nouveau poste au sein d'une entreprise dynamique. Le candidat retenu aura l'occasion de contribuer au developpement du role et des responsabilites qui repondent le mieux aux objectifs de l'entreprise.

Principales taches et responsabilites:




Sous la supervision du vice-president executif et secretaire general, vous serez notamment appele a effectuer les taches suivantes : Soutenir l'equipe de direction en redigeant, revisant et/ou corrigeant divers documents conformement aux modeles standards de l'entreprise, notamment la redaction et la revision d'accords de confidentialite, le renouvellement ou la modification de contrats de service, ainsi que la preparation d'echeanciers et d'enonces de travail. Soutenir l'equipe sur toutes sortes de questions et de demandes contractuelles. Effectuer une verification diligente des renseignements et des commentaires obtenus dans le cadre de la conclusion de diverses ententes et d'acquisitions potentielles. Participer a l'elaboration, a la mise en oeuvre et a la mise a jour de divers modeles de contrats, documents de reference et bases de donnees, et contribuer a l'amelioration des processus internes. Soutenir la haute direction dans le cadre des transactions (y compris la diligence raisonnable) et des obligations de divulgation continue, et assurer la coordination et la liaison avec les parties internes et externes. Soutenir les exigences des societes publiques.



Exigences:





Pour reussir dans ce poste, le candidat doit demontrer les qualites ou competences suivantes :


Parfait bilingue (francais et anglais), tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit. Diplome universitaire en droit ou diplome collegial en etudes para juridiques ou diplome en commerce. Au moins trois ans d'experience pertinente en entreprise ou en cabinet d'avocats. Sens de l'organisation. Capacite de travailler en equipe et de developper de solides relations de cooperation et de soutien. Grand souci du detail ; esprit d'equipe et souci du service client. Competences efficaces en gestion des priorites. Capacite de travailler avec une clientele diversifiee et de s'adapter a des situations et des individus varies. Sens de l'initiative et proactivite. Capacite de travailler sous pression, souvent dans des delais serres, et de faire preuve de sang-froid dans des situations delicates. Bonne ethique de travail, bon jugement et bonnes competences en communication. Autonomie et diplomatie. Maitrise de MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook) et capacite de travailler avec des documents PDF.
