Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Contract Administrator

to support our team of Project Managers in the delivery of various projects--from initiation through to close-out. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and administering legal contracts, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and trade agreements, and supporting the contract lifecycle from planning to execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities



Align contracts with the

Contract Execution and Spending Authority Policy (CESAP)

and relevant trade agreements. Draft and manage contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) tailored to specific project requirements. Solicit quotes, estimates, and proposals from vendors, consultants, and contractors. Support negotiations of claims, variations, changes, and disputes in collaboration with project stakeholders and legal teams. Communicate contractual changes clearly and promptly to all stakeholders. Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, performance tracking, and feedback. Coordinate with procurement leads, project managers, and engineers to issue purchase orders. Create and manage purchase requisitions and oversee approval processes and timelines. Interface with internal departments and external vendors on matters such as performance, payments, reporting, tenders, and change orders. Provide regular performance reports on active contracts. Record goods received in Oracle. Perform document control duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills



Minimum 3 years

of experience in contract administration or a related procurement role. Experience in contract and procurement processes, preferably within construction or engineering sectors. Credential as a

Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA)

is an asset. Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Contract Management, Business, Engineering, or Law) is preferred. Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and public-sector purchasing policies is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail and organization. Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
