Connaitre chaque etape du procede de production, des matieres premieres aux produits finis.



Collaborer etroitement avec le Directeur Principal en Amelioration Continue, vos collegues du departement, les Superviseurs de Production ainsi que les Operateurs a tous les niveaux. Ce poste vous donne egalement l'opportunite de travailler avec d'autres usines du groupe aux Etats-Unis, en Europe et en Asie ainsi que l'equipe de vente et de la gestion de produits.

General Scope of Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Senior Continuous Improvement Leader, the Continuous Improvement Specialist is accountable for overseeing ongoing quality control initiatives, driving enhancements in processes and products, and contributing to technical advancements and the development of new products. This individual will regularly also collaborate with their department colleagues, the lab personnel, the Production Team Leaders and the Operators at all levels. This position will also give you the opportunity to collaborate with other sites in the USA, Europe and Asia, the Sales Team and the Product Management Team. This person must understand each step of the process from raw materials through to a finished product.

Exigences du poste :

Education/Experience:

Un diplome universitaire preferable. Un diplome collegial technique avec un minimum de 5 ans d'experience sera considere.

Competences recherchees :

Excellente connaissance de l'industrie textile et des pates et papiers. Connaissance de la fabrication de toiles de formation. Analytique de nature, capable de comprendre les procedes de fabrication, la conception et les applications de tissus, les systemes qualites. Competence a diagnostiquer et a resoudre des problemes de fabrication. Les candidats possedent de fortes competences en communication verbale et ecrite, autant en francais qu'en anglais, de fortes habiletes en matiere de relations interpersonnelles, l'habilete a gerer une variete de fonctions techniques et de production, un solide engagement envers la qualite et le service et etre en mesure de promouvoir la vision et les valeurs de l'entreprise. Solides connaissances en informatique, tout particulierement des logiciels MS Office ainsi que la maitrise du systeme JDE.

A university degree is preferred. A technical college diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience will be considered.

Skills as a plus:

Excellent knowledge of textile and pulp and paper industry; Textile manufacturing process knowledge. Analytical in nature, capable of understanding manufacturing processes, fabric designs and applications, quality systems; able to diagnose and solve manufacturing problems Candidates have strong French and English verbal and written communication skills, a strong commitment towards quality and service. Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Office software and JDE system proficiency

Conditions de travail:

L'environnement est propre et la temperature controlee. L'environnement de travail permet a l'associe de s'asseoir confortablement et se deplacer librement. Une certaine exposition : au bruit, aux fluctuations de la chaleur, a la poussiere et a des vapeurs, a la vitesse et/ou a la rotation de machinerie dans les aires de production. Des equipements de protections individuelles doivent etre portes dans les aires designees. Les interruptions peuvent etre frequentes et les echeances sont souvent critiques. L'attention visuelle est requise afin de lire des rapports numeriques. Occasionnellement effectuer des voyages d'affaires et visiter des clients.
