Irving, Limited is currently seeking motivated individuals for Continuous Improvement Specialist located in our Head Office in Saint John, N.B.As a key resource to the Continuous Improvement team, the successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. In this position, you will work with the various key stakeholders in our businesses as required.Qualifications:

• Education Required: Post-secondary Degree in a Business, Engineering, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related experience - preference being a lean workplace
• Experience working with PowerBI or other data visualization and analytics tools would be considered an asset
• Proven track record of innovation, ingenuity, attention to detail, ownership and willingness to seek and take on challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze problems/opportunities for efficiencies and make recommendations for improvements
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Aid in executing CI initiatives within Corporate and operating divisons
• Provide coaching for process improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Lead and facilitate improvement projects and workshops
• Serve as a data and/or analytic resource for initiative based teams
