Description:

The Continuing Care Assistant under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse, provides exceptional individualized quality resident focused care in a safe environment in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent must exhibit sound judgment and initiative while working within the Mission, Vision and Strategic Directions of Glen Haven Manor.

Enhance resident health through infection prevention and control within the established guidelines for health, safety, infection control.

This position may require shift work.

The successful candidate must be committed to take required education and training as deemed necessary to fulfill the ongoing job requirements.

Qualifications:

Continuing Care Assistant Certificate/Glen Haven Care Assistant Certificate

Experience with responsive behaviors (preferred)

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training (preferred)

Current Vulnerable Sector Check

Current Favorable Criminal Record Check
