Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CCA to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being

Duties


As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing. Supporting individuals with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition. Assisting clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed. Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in client condition to nursing staff. Supporting clients with dementia care and working with persons with disabilities to promote independence. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Continuing Care Assistant Certificate and active registry on the CCA registry required. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients. A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
