Content Creator/Blog Writer
to produce compelling, brand-aligned content across all Lighthouse divisions. This role involves crafting compelling blog posts, managing content strategies, and supporting digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills, a keen eye for design, and proficiency in various content management tools and digital marketing techniques.
Responsibilities
Develop, write, and edit original blog posts, articles, and web content aligned with the company's content strategy
Optimize content for SEO using keyword research and best practices to improve search engine rankings
Manage and update content across WordPress and other content management systems
Create visual content including graphics, photography, and videos using Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and video editing tools
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content marketing campaigns for social media, email marketing, and e-commerce platforms
Conduct keyword research to identify trending topics and optimize content for target audiences
Maintain consistency in brand voice and style across all digital channels
Monitor website analytics with Google Analytics to assess content performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Assist with social media management by creating engaging posts and managing social media accounts
Support marketing automation efforts through email campaigns and other digital tools
Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, and emerging technologies
Skills
Proficiency in SEO techniques, keyword research, and content optimization strategies
Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail
Experience with WordPress, content management systems, HTML, CSS, and website editing tools
Skilled in graphic design, photography, videography, and video editing software
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools
Knowledge of social media management platforms and social media marketing best practices
Understanding of digital marketing channels including email marketing, e-commerce integration, and marketing automation tools
Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics to inform content decisions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop clear and engaging content tailored to target audiences
Experience in B2B marketing or white papers is a plus
