About the Role

As a Content Technician, you will be responsible for handling, packing, listing, and assessing customers' personal belongings impacted by fire, water, mold, or other property losses. You will work closely with our production and project management teams to ensure all contents are documented, cleaned, stored, and returned to clients with care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Pack, sort, and itemize customer contents during onsite and warehouse work Create detailed inventory lists using industry software (training provided) Photograph and document items for insurance claims Assess contents for cleaning, restoration, or disposal Clean, deodorize, and restore items according to industry standards Assist with moving, loading, and unloading contents Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and storage vaults Follow safety protocols and company policies Provide excellent customer service during sensitive loss situations Work collaboratively with technicians, estimators, and project managers

Qualifications

Experience in restoration, moving, warehousing, cleaning, or a related field is an asset but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and work on your feet Valid driver's licence (preferred) Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic software Professional, reliable, and able to work in fast-paced environments Positive attitude and willingness to learn industry standards
