SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and supports all aspects related to Content Development ecosystem: authoring and component content management system & tools setup, maintenance, standards, localization, and publication/single-sourcing processes.

DIMENSION & SCOPE

Responsible for planning, managing, and supporting Content Development ecosystem: authoring and component content management system & tools, processes, including training information developers in tools, standards, and publishing options.

Research & test industry best in-class tools, and formulate strategies for implementation or migration yo existing content development ecosystem.

Provides day-to-day tools support. Works independently under the direction of the Team Lead or Senior Manager.

Collaborates with Team Lead and/or Senior Manager to define operational and strategic/tactical goals and objectives.

Collaborates with Team Lead and/or Senior Manager to define content development offering, vision, and user experience for content on various output media

Collaborate with third party vendors in the implementation and maintenance activities including testing beta version prior to deployment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

10+ years of content information development experience including at least 2 years of template design experience.

High-level thinker and strategic planner.

Sound knowledge of end-to-end content information development methodologies.

Proficient with template design in Adobe Technical Communication suite.

Knowledge of XML, HTML and DITA standards.

Knowledge of relevant tools (CCMS, XML editors, publishing options).
