In joining our team as a Content Marketing Manager, you would play a critical role in leading our content strategy and execution. You\'ll help to build Optix\'s brand, educate our global audience on the latest coworking management practices and flexible workplace trends, and support our B2B top-of-funnel growth through content development. Note: This is a hybrid opportunity for someone based in Vancouver, BC (50% in our beautiful water-front Gastown office, 50% from home). We welcome applicants from all walks of life.   • You have 3-5 years of copywriting and content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • You have content development skills and experience working across a variety of content formats (i.e. blog writing, ebooks, webinar decks, video scripts, email marketing, etc)
  • You have experience managing and building followings on social media platforms including Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • You have a deep knowledge of SEO principles and reporting, SEO tools, and content marketing optimization
  • Your writing is clear, concise, empathetic, and 100% typo-free
  • You demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
  • You have an interest or knowledge of how sales processes work, especially B2B customer journey
  • You are excited to join a growing start-up and lead the testing, optimizing, and scaling of our marketing content efforts

Bonus points for
  • Experience as a people manager
  • Knowledge about the flexible office space and/or coworking industry
  • Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in English, communications, or creative writing
  • Experience using WordPress and/or Hubspot

What you\'ll do
  • Lead a small marketing team and help us scale our marketing team and efforts
  • Refine and execute on our SEO-driven content strategy utilizing SEO tools to grow our web traffic
  • Maintain our content roadmap and editorial calendar with key content pillars and clearly defined metrics
  • Create a variety of content pieces from insightful blog posts to email campaigns, newsletters, persuasive landing pages, high-converting video scripts, and more at each stage of the buyer\'s journey
  • Create ad copy for digital media campaigns
  • Support our marketing team with building our following across our social media platforms, paid advertising, and more, creating campaigns that inspire and engage our audience
  • Conduct research on relevant topics and gather data, quotes, and perspectives to support informative data-driven content pieces
  • Support with creating marketing website content such as new product copy, customer stories, and case studies
  • Support the business in developing and executing strategic content marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders on developing relevant content
