NAIT Industry Solutions is a $40+ million per year business unit with over 200 employees that provides applied research, corporate training and continuing education for partners from industry, Indigenous communities, government and other post-secondary institutions nationally and internationally. The Applied Research Business Development Team is accountable for providing business development and sales support for NAIT Industry Solutions. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Content Generation Lead to support and grow awareness of our Applied Research Chairs, Centres, and Teams.

Reporting to the Director, Business Development - Applied Research, the Content Generation Lead is accountable for the developing and maintaining strategic multimedia content in support of Industry Solutions\' purpose and mission for both internal and external audiences The Lead works closely with the Business Development team, the Grants & Proposals team, the Applied Research Leadership team, NAIT Marketing and Communications, and works especially closely with the Director, Business Development - Applied Research.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead is accountable to:

1) Develop and implement multimedia content for the Applied Research portfolio that includes:

  • Different forms of content including written, video, digital, graphical, social media, etc.
  • Strategic promotional content for internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Social media outreach
  • Current Applied Research website content
2) Ensure the Business Development and Applied Research teams are fully prepared with the appropriate sales tools when they engage with clients / partners including presentations, videos and other promotional collateral tailored to individual partner / market / sector / scientific conferences.

3) Lead and/or provide input into strategies and plans such as:
  • Industry Solutions Objectives and Key Results
  • Social media strategy
  • Marketing and Communications Strategy
  • Represent Industry Solutions on NAIT marketing and communications committees as required
4) Responsible for strategically allocating annual operating budget attached with this role

Qualifications:
  • Related Degree or 2-year Diploma
  • Relevant and extensive work experience.
Remuneration: $2,751.60 - $ 3,645.28 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

NOTE: Position will require some regional, national and international travel. The most significant risk arises from stress as a result of deadlines, multiplicity of tasks, and complexity of position requirements.
