About the Role

We're looking for a Content Creator to help bring the Silktresss brand to life across our digital platforms. You'll be responsible for the creation of engaging social content by designing on-brand graphics, creating short-form videos, and assisting with visual storytelling for campaigns and product launches.

Working closely with the founder, this role is ideal for someone creative and excited to gain hands-on experience in content creation, graphic design, and social media for a growing beauty brand.

Responsibilities

Plan and design on-brand content for social media posts, stories, carousels, email marketing, and website use. Help organize photoshoots, campaign concepts, and content calendars. Write captions, product descriptions, and brand-aligned messaging. Help film, edit, and produce short-form videos (UGC, product features, behind-the-scenes, founder content). Support influencer outreach and coordination. Track basic analytics (engagement, reach, saves, TikTok trends) and report insights. Stay on top of trends in beauty, hair, and lifestyle content.

Requirements

Strong interest in beauty, hair, lifestyle, or fashion. Experience creating content for TikTok or Instagram (even personal accounts count). Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar platforms. Basic video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, or similar). Strong writing and visual storytelling skills. Highly creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently. A portfolio, Instagram/TikTok handle, or sample content is an asset.
