Summary

We are seeking a Content Cleaner / Labourer to join our team at Winmar Barrie/Orillia. In this role, you will assist with various restoration and renovation tasks that help restore properties to their original condition. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that our customers receive the support they need during challenging times.

Responsibilities

Clean and restore personal belongings (furniture, electronics, clothing, documents, etc.) damaged by fire, water, mold, or smoke. Use specialized cleaning equipment and techniques, such as ultrasonic cleaning, HEPA vacuuming and more. Perform hand-cleaning of delicate or high-value items. Assist in creating a detailed inventory of affected items, including taking photos and noting condition. Pack out and transport contents from the job site to our facility for cleaning. Maintain a respectful and trustworthy presence in customers' homes or businesses. Work closely with restoration technicians, supervisors, and co-workers Assist with property restoration tasks including cleaning, maintenance, and renovations. Support skilled tradespeople in various construction activities such as drywall installation and carpentry. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks on-site. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work efforts.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning or construction is an asset but not required. Strong ability to maintain cleanliness and organization on job sites. High attention to detail. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to group efforts. Able to work a rotational on-call schedule

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
