We are hiring a full-time Container Dispatcher to manage container movements, coordinate drivers, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires prior container dispatch experience, familiarity with Truckmate and Navisphere, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assign daily and weekend driver trips; monitor updates every 30 minutes
Book pickups (P/U) and empty returns (MT); update charges and status in real time
Perform daily yard checks and weekly chassis inspections
Communicate with customers via email; send quotes and shipment updates
Train new drivers on rail yard procedures
Maintain booking and chassis boards; update detention charges
Use Truckmate and Navisphere for all booking and dispatch operations
Provide dispatch support every other weekend
Qualifications
2+ years of container dispatch or intermodal experience
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Truckmate and Navisphere (preferred)
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Knowledge of drayage and chassis operations is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
