Position Overview

The CLF Representative will be accountable for various sales development initiatives, administrative and operational functions. Additionally, the CLF representative is expected to drive superior customer experience, initiate and develop new customer relationships while retaining and growing existing clientele.

This is \xe2\x80\x98In office\xe2\x80\x99 role and no remote or hybrid is available.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Support growth of existing customer base and develop opportunities for new customers and business avenues.
  • Serve as primary liaison between all customers, auction and KAR Global departments to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • Primary contact for consumer consignment, including, but not limited to supporting the end-to-end sales transaction and customer experience.
  • Ensure all auction and KAR Global ancillary services are presented to ensure optimal customer value and experience.
  • Initiate and develop lead generation opportunities to meet or exceed target expectations.
  • Research potential customer KPIs and identify how KAR Global partners can deliver solutions to address their needs with superior outcomes.
  • Perform reporting activities including organizing, analyzing, compiling and verifying data.
  • Assess and triage immediate customer issues enabling on-the-spot resolutions to ensure optimal customer experience and maximize sales.
  • Understand internal and customer-facing systems (ADESA.ca, Traderev, etc.),
  • Effectively educate and resolve issues for internal and external customers as well as support any new initiatives or implementations.
  • Liaise with team members, customers and KAR Global partners to ensure fulfillment of service level agreements.
  • Contribute to sales and conversion growth by facilitating and developing new ideas and opportunities.
  • Act as a guide and mentor for junior team members. Provide feedback and coaching as required.
  • Support or participate in special events or meetings as required.
  • Additional Duties as required to support business evolution and development.
Required qualifications and attributes:
  • Proven customer service focus.
  • Independent, self-starter.
  • Proven interpersonal skills; team player.
  • Effective problem solving and resolution development abilities.
  • Understanding of all aspects of vehicle auctions and/or automotive sales.
  • Demonstrated sales experience and achievements.
  • Superior communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.
  • 2-3 years sales and customer service experience.
  • Understanding of vehicle valuation and/or residualization concepts, an asset.
  • OMVIC certification or transferrable knowledge; an asset.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
