As the Consultant, Social Media, you are accountable for working with a center of excellence team that leads the strategy, creative and content planning, and implementation of Social Media and strategic Influencer partnerships across the Enterprise on behalf of the Customer Marketing team. The position will work with different stakeholders including Channel, Marketing, Corporate Communications/PR, Agencies and Vendors to further the adoption of social media best practices and innovations that deepen client relationships and drive business outcomes.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Strategic \xe2\x80\x93 Work with team on social media strategy that develops social and digital content, consulting with colleagues in public relations, marketing communications, community relations, sponsorships and events and LOB\xe2\x80\x99s to help identify and manage campaigns on social media channels and creation of paid & organic content. You are a strong leader, and will recommend and design Social Media best practices and measure the performance, construct tests to optimize the channels and provide advice and recommendations on initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities and the customer experience.
  • Innovative \xe2\x80\x93 Identify & leverage emerging trends, platforms and technologies. Proactively seek out new opportunities to find better ways to work and achieve our goals. Share cutting-edge news and capabilities with partners and across the team, so as to build our team\xe2\x80\x99s reputation as thought leaders and change agents. Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to improve the online customer experience and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of social and digital channels
  • Leadership \xe2\x80\x93Lead the teams to define Social Media KPI\xe2\x80\x99s across the organization for various strategies, platforms and programs all in the effort of driving positive Marketing ROI. You will direct the team of subject matter experts (SME) and owners of the Social Media implementations, providing oversight and governance to the processes and development.
  • Relationship Management \xe2\x80\x93 Operate with on purpose relationships \xe2\x80\x93 work in cross functional teams.
Who you are
  • You can demonstrate experience in social media & digital marketing (6 + years) or marketing with at least 3+ years of demonstrated Social Media & Digital Content experience with specific experience dedicated to leading social media & digital content strategies and working with agencies and internal cross functional teams. Advanced knowledge of social media is also required.
