We are looking for psychologists to conduct candidate selection assessments for correctional services officers and armed border agents. This role offers flexibility, as we manage referrals and coordinate assessments based on your availability.

Responsibilities
Conduct interviews with candidates who have completed written personality assessments administered by Calian. After the interview, complete a structured template with your findings.
Perform the second part of a two-part assessment: review formal testing results (MMPI-3 and 16PF) and conduct a structured clinical interview.
Interpret test results and determine whether candidates meet the requirements of the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).
Provide feedback on assessment results to candidates and, when required, defend psychological evaluations.

Qualifications
Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology (must-have)
Licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in Newfoundland
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience working with public safety entities such as provincial or municipal police forces, DND, RCMP, CSC, CSIS, CBSA, or provincial equivalents
Completion of at least 50 psychological readiness assessments for candidates

Casual contract and flexible working schedule
Assessments may be conducted on weekdays, weekends, or evenings.
