The Opportunity
We are recruiting
psychiatrists licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
to join our national virtual care team. In this role, you'll provide
virtual psychiatric assessments
for patients aged 12 and up, focusing on diagnostic clarification and consultative support.
Each referral is
fully pre-screened
and includes a structured intake package with:
Parent and teacher
SNAP-IV forms
Academic reports, developmental history, and validated screeners
Clinical notes from our interdisciplinary team (NPs, therapists, care coordinators)
What You'll Do
Conduct virtual psychiatric consultations and diagnostic assessments
Review detailed patient intake materials and collateral information
Provide clear diagnostic impressions and recommendations
Collaborate with our in-house clinicians and intake team
Maintain documentation within a secure EMR system
Optionally use our
AI-enhanced documentation tools
Optionally work from our
Calgary or Edmonton office locations
Who You Are
FRCPC-certified psychiatrist
, licensed and in good standing with
CPSA
Enrolled or eligible to bill through
Alberta Health (AHCIP)
Skilled in assessing
ADHD, mood, anxiety, substance use, and eating disorders
Comfortable with virtual platforms and remote assessments
Committed to ethical, inclusive, and collaborative care
Preferred (Not Required)
Licensure in
multiple provinces
(we assist with cost reimbursement)
Familiarity with ADHD tools:
SNAP-IV, Vanderbilt, WFIRS, ASRS, DIVA-5
Experience with trauma-informed or culturally responsive care
Interest in complex case reviews or second-opinion consultations
