What You'll Be Doing

As the Consultant, OTC Derivatives, Regulatory Operations, you will be joining the OTC Derivatives team within Capital Markets Operations. You will provide leadership and oversight on the operational controls surrounding Capital Markets Regulatory Trade reporting. You will participate in control executions and project activities with emphasis on defining new required controls to ensure compliance with multiple regulatory jurisdictions. You will present to business partners and executives on the quality of our regulatory performance. You will apply advanced analytical skills to analyze data from multiple external and internal data sources to identify potential gaps in reporting. You are confident, thorough and have the ability to use good judgment when making decisions involving a high degree of attention to detail.

How You'll Succeed

Trade Reporting Experience -1 to 5 years of Regulatory Trade Reporting experience: SEC SBSD, CFTC (Part 20, 23,43,45), Canada (IIROC 2800-C, CSA), EU (SFTR, MIFID II, EMIR), and Asia (ASIC, MAS, HKMA).

OTC Derivative Products Knowledge/Experience - Working knowledge of the structure of derivatives transactions from both a theoretical and practical viewpoint as well as the basic finance principles that underlie them. 1 to 5 years of OTC Derivative Products experience: derivative swaps, forwards, options, and commodities. Possess a University Undergraduate degree in economics or business with 3-5 years of business related experience.

Analytical Skills - 1 to 3 years of analytics experience to have interpreted, communicated, and conveyed technical data. Ability to use effective communication skills necessary to interpret and convey data that is often very technical.

Reconciliations - 1 to 3 years of Reconciliation experience with Capital Markets derivatives data or trade economics and valuations reconciliation for regulatory reporting.

Leadership and Training - Provide leadership and mentoring to analysts. Examine the impact of new regulatory obligations against existing workforce and technology designs. Develop and deploy formal training packages when rolling out new controls.

Communication & Collaboration - You have effective communication skills required to convey complex messages to business partners and executives. Understand that collaboration can transform a good idea into a great one.
