Description

You will provide strategic consulting services and sales development strategies to improve the performance of dealer business offices in a given region while promoting insurance products and programs. You will work closely with Dealership Managers, General Managers, General Sales Managers and Finance Managers. You will develop strong relationships with your contacts and support the improvement of the sales office performance. You will also be responsible for identifying new partnerships with dealers and focus on expanding iA\'s market share.

We are looking for candidates who lives in the Avalon Peninsula.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Consulting services with dealers as outlined in IA\'s LEAN methods.
  • Sales and presentation of iA products and programs
  • Provide one-on-one training for internal financial services managers
  • Management of the dealers\' computer system
  • Internal administration (as described in the full consultant position profile).
  • You will need to hold or obtain a restricted life insurance license to hold this position.
Skills you bring to the position
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Strong sales and prospecting experience
  • Strong business analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Passion and proven experience in promoting a wide range of automotive, recreational vehicle and marine financing and insurance products such as credit insurance, extended service contracts and chemical appearance products
  • Sales fundamentals training skills (related to our product offering)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Demonstrate a positive and objective attitude in all situations
  • Excellent ability to adapt, innovate and be productive
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong disposition to continuous improvement and change management
  • Extensive knowledge of the automotive/RV industry
  • Demonstrate determination and motivation to increase performance
Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional automotive/RV sales management or financial services management experience with successful track record.
