What you\'ll be doing

As a member of the Data Governance team, the Consultant, Data Quality supports the technical implementation and management of data quality through the development and documentation of data quality rules and metrics. The Data Quality Consultant will develop and documents standard data quality rules. Develop subject matter expertise in People, Culture and Brand data ownership and consumption to support all aspects of data quality, including profiling, validation, standardization, and detection and management of errors. The role will serve as a liaison between the business and technical stakeholders to develop quality rules and controls through profiling; participates in the identification and remediation of data quality issues in the People, Culture and Brand business unit. The Data Quality Consultant collaborates with stakeholders to understand data quality use cases and recommend what enhancement are required to the existing data quality framework. The role will provide the project manager with updates on project/program plans, report risks/issues, discusses mitigation strategy, program status. The consultant will partners with Data Stewards across the organization to operationalize all aspects of Data Quality, to support effective data decisions, escalations, and issue resolution. The Data Quality Consultant will create and maintains documentation on data processes, data models, and data flows for the organization. The role will provide training and support to end-users and data stewards to promote data governance best practices and awareness.

How you\'ll succeed

Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.

Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.

Leading and Mentoring \xe2\x80\x93 Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert. Be part of a collaborative work environment and support other team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Organization - Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thoughtfully create and/or edit a wide variety of presentation and communication materials (e.g. key messages, communication plans, tactical deliverables, presentations etc.)

Communication - Superior interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation.

Data Issue Support - Conduct investigation and provide resolution (with help of developers when needed) for issues brought up by business.
