What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Enterprise Payments Transformation, the Consultant, Business delivery will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies. In support of wire modernization (EWM) program - your focus will be to guide and support the organization's transition to the new payments wire messaging standard, ensuring that employees are prepared, trained, and aligned with the changes. The role would involve managing the human side of the transformation to ISO 20022, which can affect various departments, processes, and systems.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You'll SucceedLead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies for Enterprise Payment Transformation program. The People change Management (PCM) lead for EWM will lead and manage the organizational change efforts. The role is focused on ensuring that employees across relevant business units are prepared, equipped, and fully supported throughout the transition. Develop change strategies and plans, including stakeholder impact assessment, communications, change readiness, and end-user training. Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy and plan, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives. Identify and assess the impact of the transition, focusing on employee readiness and potential resistance points. Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the Enterprise Payments Transformation team in compliance with CIBC's Change Management methodologies. Lead/facilitate meetings with stakeholders/user group/subject matter experts to ensure an understanding of the current processes, and jointly develop a change adoption plan. Collaborate with project and people managers to understand the scope, timelines, and impacts of the phases in the wire modernization (EWM). Build relationships with key stakeholders across departments to foster support for the change initiative. Training and Communication: Design, coordinate, and deliver change communication to keep staff informed of project developments and timelines. Oversee the development of training programs, ensuring employees have the necessary skills to operate in the new messaging environment. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to help teams understand the technical and business changes.

Who You AreYou can demonstrate experience: 5+ years in a PCM (People Change Management) and/or Business Analysis role. Proven experience in managing organizational change, ideally with exposure to large-scale, global financial institution projects, particularly in payments systems or financial messaging.. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple stakeholders. You have strong problem solving skills, stakeholder management abilities, and exceptional organizational skills. It's an asset if you to have experience in Understanding of the Swift ISO 20022 standard and its impact on financial institutions and payment operations You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way. You're digitally savvy.
