What You\'ll Be Doing

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s Financial Crimes Technology. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be at the heart of CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an Application Consultant, you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

How You\'ll Succeed

Design and Development - Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities. Design the application\'s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Strategic Planning - Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

Leadership Skills - Support and mentor team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

You can demonstrate minimum 3-5 years of Cloud development experience, using the following languages or tools:

- Must have: Java 1.8, Spring MVC4, Spring AOP4, Hibernate4, Oracle, SQL language, Jquery, JSP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services, API-M, AKV, Azure development.

- Nice to have: C#, WCF Services, Integrated and JWT Authentication mechanisms, PowerShell and shell scripting, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins.

- SailPoint development is a definite plus.
