Your Opportunity:The Provincial Education Lead is a professional role in the Provincial Seniors Health and Continuing Care Portfolio and reports directly to the Senior Consultant, Provincial Seniors Health & Continuing Care. This role within the Quality Initiatives team will support and sustain effective provincial integration of education, orientation, and practices within continuing care. Primary focus is on supporting and sustaining provincially standardized education and practices related to the Quality of Life initiative. Educational activities may involve the development, coordination and delivery of education to AHS staff and Contracted Service Providers. This position is responsible for knowledge transfer based on adult education principles. This position will establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and leaders in order to support education leadership. This position will be responsible for coordinating with zone-based educators to support standardized provincial education. In order to be successful in this role, the Provincial Education Lead must possess exceptional relationship building skills in order to develop and maintain positive working relationships within continuing care. A resolution-based focus combined with strong negotiation skills and judgment will assist the Lead in challenging existing norms, integrating diverse perspectives and identifying alternative solutions.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in related discipline, Minimum 5 years\' of education related experience, preferably in a Continuing Care healthcare environment, Expertise in MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio. Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent public speaking skills, Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of adult learning, Experience using web-based technology for providing education, Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with highly complex internal and external stakeholders, Experience developing online learning materials using Adobe Captivate. Preferred Qualifications:3-5 years\' experience working within a healthcare organization, Current knowledge of the continuum of health services, Change Management certification (PROSCI or equivalent), Lean Six Sigma or equivalent Black Belt, Adobe Captivate Certification.Please note:All postings close at 23:59 MT of the posting end date indicated.Security Screening:A satisfactory criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search is required prior to your first day of work.
