Jump ship and get EI! We are seeking a skilled construction worker to join our team and finish off the season! Once the snow flys you'll be laid off so you can collect EI! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction practices and techniques, with the ability to execute projects with precision. This role involves working on various construction tasks, including framing, roofing, metal cladding, concrete, and all other tasks that go along with constructing large agricultural shops.
Duties
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and sketches to complete projects accurately.
Perform masonry work as needed, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Installing structural components with attention to detail.
Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
Familiarity with masonry techniques and practices is a plus.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
Experience in flooring installation, roofing, electrical work, or restoration projects is desirable.
Ability to perform construction estimating for materials and labor requirements effectively.
