About us CCS Constructio Group Inc. is a family-owned construction business in Toronto. Most of our projects are residential and small commerical and located in the GTA and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be able to work with a variety of tools and materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the construction and renovation of residential buildings with a focus on waterproofing, excavation and concrete. This position requires physical strength and stamina as well as an attention to detail. This job positing is NOT open to subcontractors! We are looking for someone on payroll. Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform general labor duties such as lifting, carrying, and loading materials.
- Waterproof existing buildings.
- Excavate by hand. Ability to operate machines is an asset (Bobcat, mini excavator)
- Form and pour concrete
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Clean up construction sites and remove debris.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and other workers.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Concrete forming: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
