Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Carry out foundational tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and installing basic structures Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, and performing routine tasks Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members Help with site cleanup and organization to maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Skills

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to learn safety standards on-site Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment; previous experience is a plus but not required Willingness to follow instructions carefully and take direction from supervisors Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success Nice-to-have: familiarity with construction safety certifications or previous hands-on experience in construction or related fields
